Slacker Steph

So I'm so sorry that my blog is boring and I'm really bad at updating. One of the reasons is that my camera is broken, and I really like to put pictures with a post so it's not so dull. The word on the street is I'm getting a camera for Christmas from Santa, so that will be awesome. Anyway, If you want to know some of the stuff that's going on in my life you can go to my sister's blog. It's Jon and Corny on my friend's list. She's been really good at posting stuff we do, like the Twilight Premier, which was freakin fun. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We were able to go see my brother Matt and his wife Nikki and her family in California. It was a lot of fun, and I wish I had pictures. Anyway, please forgive me, and I hope to talk to you all soon.

Stinky Fish

So this is how bad of a mom I am. We recorded the kids on Halloween, but I didn't take any pictures, so today I made them put their costumes on so I could get some shots of them. I'm sure the neighbors driving by thought I was nuts. Marlee even had her trick or treat bag.

This is my little stinker, Brody.

Marlee was a Mermaid, or in her words, I'm and Ermaid mom, an Ermaid. Whatever she is, she is so cute. She really loves her candy if you can't tell. I swear we never got this much candy when we were little. I remember going all over the neighborhood and coming home with half a sack. Now a days, you just have to go down a couple streets and they're loaded.

Oh, and her Halloween song she sang to everyone was, "Trick or Treat, smell my bum, give me something good to eat." I don't know where she got that, but it was hilarious.

Halloween Party

We had our annual adult Halloween party on Wednesday, and it was so much fun. We went to the straw maze, and I was pretty impressed. Corny, Jon, and Teegan were vampires. I took the pictures off Corianne's page, so sorry if you have already seen them.

My super sexy husband, Cory, was an extention of his model picture I took a few blogs ago. Let's just say he took his role seriously.

Check out those tight buns.

Fashion Show

So my awesome little brother, K.C. is a teacher at the Paul Mitchell school here in Rexburg. He got my mom, sister, and me to be his models for a fashion show they had. It was so much fun. we got to wear some crazy dresses, and our hair was awesome. My mom kills me in this picture by the way.

We got our dresses from D.I., and made some changes. We're going to use them for Halloween.

It's crazy that my little bro can do hair so well. It's the best because he can come over to my house and dye my hair or cut the kids hair. I don't know what we would do without Kace.

Happy Birthday Corybear!!!

So, I just posted that deer picture of Cory, and I forgot to mention today is his birthday, so Happy Birthday Cory. Yeah, I didn't take off and go shopping for 3 days on this special day, I made sure I stayed home and did nice things for you and said Happy Birthday. Anyway, I'm not mad anymore. I really do love you Cory. I can't believe your 30 years old now!

Cory's trophy wife

So Cory is making me do this post because he is so proud of himself. Personally, I'm a little annoyed by the whole hunting thing. I feel sorry for the poor little guy. Cory's also in the dog house because he went hunting on my birthday of all days. He's still making it up to me.

Volleyball District Champs!!!

One of the reasons I've been so busy lately is that I've been coaching 8th grade volleyball for South Fremont. I know what some of you are thinking. Why South Fremont? Well they gave me the best offer, and I'm so glad I took it. My girls are awesome!! They played so hard, and I couldn't have asked for a better group of talented players. We went undefeated in the season, and came back from a loss in our first game of districts, to beat Sugar twice in the championship game. It was sweet! Go Cougars!

Shout out to Bubba

Happy Birthday Brody!!! I can't believe my little bubba is 1 year's old already. He is such a sweet heart. He is really good natured, and actually shy. Sounds weird, since Marlee is extremely opposite. I think we might need to get her checked for ADD or something. :) Anyway, I love you Brody.

My Model Husband

Yeah, I know what you're all thinking. How did Steph get such a hot husband? I don't know, I guess I'm just lucky. Love you Cory. You can always make me laugh.

Marlee's first run in with the law

So, I don't have a picture of this, but just imagine Marlee butt naked, and covered head to toe in mud. The neighbors just got grass and have been watering a ton, so there are huge puddles of mud everywhere. Of course, this is Marlee's favorite place to play. We've had to keep all the doors locked so she won't go out all the time and get muddy, but this one particular afternoon Cory came home for lunch and let her go play with her friends. Well, ten minutes later she comes to the door naked and covered in mud, so I hose her off and put her in her bed. Then, about five minutes later a cop shows up at our door asking me if I'd seen a little naked girl running around. I seriously paused for a couple minutes wondering if I should claim her, but I just told him, yeah, I think that's my daughter. Turns out, the construction crew down the road saw her and thought she might get hurt so they called the police. I'm glad they did, but I was so embarrassed. I'm sure this won't be her last incident either. She's been a little problem child lately. She even locked me out of the house the other day. Someone please tell me there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Barbeque at Grandma Debbie's

Here's Marlee and her cousins, Liam, Rylee, and Max. Notice Marlee's water ballon boobies. She thought they were so cool.
Here's Marlee and her cousins, Katelynn and Harlie. They had so much fun swimming in the pool.
Katelynn was the only one being photogenic. The other two were two busy swimming in the water.
Our friends, Tyler, Erin, and their daughter Peyton came over for a barbeque. Sorry Erin, Cory took this picture and it was the best one I could find.
Here's Harlie trying to kiss Simon. He was playing hard to get. It was so fun being able to spend time with all our family and friends. Whenever we're in Utah, we get together and have a barbeque at Cory's mom's house. Afterwards we lit fireworks and stayed up talking til one in the morning. It was a blast.

4th of July in Utah

For our 4th of July weekend, we drove down to Utah and met some of Cory's family at a campsite, and had our first campout. The kids did pretty good, but I don't think me and Cory got any sleep.

Here's Marlee and Cory hanging out. Marlee loved being in the outdoors, but she kind of scared us because she would just wander around chasing Brittney's dog. It was pitch dark and she was just walking around. Cory's sister finally put a glow stick around her so we could see where she went. That's my Marlee. She's not afraid of anything.

Here's where me and Brody slept. Marlee and Cory roughed it in a tent.

This is our cute nephew, Simon.

This is Simon's dad, Lance. I thought it was a good picture of what our camping trip was like. Pretty much we just sat around and ate food and talked, while the kids ran around like crazy animals. It was fun seeing everyone and just relaxing.

Good times and Bad

Brody had a really bad week. When we got back from Holland, he got an ear infection and was given an antibiotic for it. Turns out he's allergic to penicillin and he broke out in hives all over his body. He also split his head open and had to get 5 stitches on his forehead. To top it all off, he had a really bad cough that gave him a lung infection, so he's on breathing treatments too. Lets just say we haven't gotten a lot of sleep for awhile. But I'm happy to say that he is doing a million times better, and the rash is gone. Poor little guy. We love him so much.

Marlee on the other hand has had a great week because she got a new kitty. She named it Meow, and is so excited. The first couple of nights she couldn't sleep because she was so happy. I finally gave in to having a pet, even though I vowed never to have a cat. It's actually not that bad.

World Travelers

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for so long. I just got back from an amazing trip to Holland with Brody, Corianne, and her son Teegan. We met my grandparents there, who are taking their last trip back to Holland. They say their getting too old to go again, so Corianne and I wanted to go back with them and see all the places they've been too, and meet family we haven't seen before. We also got to see where my dad was born. We stayed for two weeks in Den Haag with my Aunt Maud. She was so funny. We were treated like queens by all my relatives, and they were so excited to have the babies around. Traveling to Europe unleashed a travel bug in me, and I can't wait to go back. Next time I'll bring the whole family though, because I was pretty homesick.

Utah volleyball team

Taking a break in between games for some really healthy food.
Diane, Tara, and Loreene, hanging out in the back seat.
I was so excited to be able to play with my old volleyball rec team. I've missed them so much since we've moved. I got to play with them for their first day of tournament, and we won both games. It was so fun. It felt just like old times. Oh, and I'm feeling nice, so I'm not going to post some of the pictures I got of Brenda and Loreene. They were pretty hot though.
Taya, Loreene, Brenda, Bubba, me, Tara, Di, and Kim. Love you girls, and good luck next week!

We'll Miss You Opa

The Boys

After 15 years of being bedridden, my Grandpa passed away peacefully Saturday, April 26th, 2008. Now he can finally be at rest. My grandma has been by his side and taken care of him for so long. I'm so grateful to be a part of their lives and so proud to be their granddaughter. It was nice to go to the funeral and hear stories about my grandpa that I haven't heard before. It was also good to be with my family. My brother, Brandon, flew in from Memphis to be with us. I love having all my brothers and sister together.

Marlee's first bike

Marlee just got her first bike. She's actually pretty good already. Now all we need is some warm weather so she can ride it more. It's so funny being back in Idaho and seeing people wearing shorts and t-shirts as soon as it hits forty degrees. You gotta love it.

New pictures of our house

So here's some pics of the inside of our new house. I painted the kithchen and dining room and then decided to go on strike from paint. You'll notice there's no pictures of upstairs, because we haven't done anything with our rooms. Hopefully sometime soon I'll get around to it. Oh, and just ignore the fact that my sign on the wall is slanted, and Holls, I'm not as crafty as you. I bought my calendar

Double Trouble

Here's another picture of Marlee and Brody. It's the only one I can find where they're both smiling. Just ignore me in the picture.

Our first house

Here's our new house! We moved in the first of March. It's been so fun decorating and making it our own.

Big Buddah

Here's our big boy, Brody. He is so fun. I think his head is bigger than mine. He is almost 7 months now!

Marlee didn't want to get her pictures taken, so she really can smile. She is very independent, and is talking so much. My new favorite is "Oh my goodness."
